Alvord High School Cafeteria

Lunch Program Main Page Image

Welcome to the Alvord High School Lunchroom page. We look forward to serving our students a well balanced nutritional meal that meets the Texas Department of Agriculture's Texas Public School Nutrition Policy. Our cafeteria is offer vs. serve, which means that we offer at least five qualifying food items to each student and they may choose all or at least three for the tray to qualify for the state's nutritional guidelines.

***There is a new charge policy that all parents need to be aware of.  The policy in the handbook reads as follows:  Students with a $0 balance may charge two (2) additional meals,  after that the student is offered two alternative meals (cheese sandwich/milk). Parents are notified when the students account becomes negative.  If the outstanding balance is not paid in full, possible sanctions could be imposed by the campus.
